Chinese trucks export are surging

        Customs data shows that between 2012 and 2022, China’s truck exports increased almost annually. From January to August 2022, China exported a total of 315,000 trucks, a cumulative year-on-year increase of 34%. With the continuous improvement in export technology content, added value, and brand strength, 2022 marked a golden period for Chinese truck exports. Faced with a declining domestic market and a rising international market, commercial vehicle companies recognized the importance and urgency of expanding into overseas markets and have significantly increased their export efforts.
